The Bulgarian verb ‘to be‘ has different forms for I, you, he, etc., just like in English. See the table below for reference:

Something to keep in mind is that той, тя and то are not used in the same way as in English. Bulgarian uses them for both people and things, based on grammatical gender, not just biological gender.
